Environmental protection is a core part of EDNON’s management policy and is based on the following principles and objectives:

  • To consider environmental protection a fundamental responsibility within our core policy. Environmental protection is implemented through specific objectives at all levels and functions of the company.
  • To comply with all applicable environmental regulations and to go beyond these requirements by exceeding them.
  • To use natural resources responsibly and to promote the reduction, sorting, and recycling of waste.
  • To monitor and evaluate the environmental impacts of our activities and services in order to prevent or minimize them.
  • To commit to the continuous improvement of our environmental protection measures.
  • To involve employees in the effort to protect the environment. To this end, employees are informed about all relevant environmental issues applicable to their jobs and receive specific training programs. Informing employees, customers, subcontractors, suppliers, and the external community about our environmental management in accordance with ISO 14001 and the EMAS regulation.

Compliance with these principles and objectives is ensured through the implementation of the Environmental Management System and the collaboration of all EDNON personnel, who contribute to improving the conditions that help us preserve the environment.
EDN demonstrates its commitment to environmental protection through the continuous improvement of its environmental performance by allocating the necessary resources.
Therefore, EDNON has an integrated quality and environmental management system. EDNON’s senior management has defined its policy in the document “Quality and Environmental Policy.” Furthermore, to ensure that the policy is known to all EDNON personnel, suppliers, subcontractors, and the general public, it is available on the organization’s website.
